This is an overall great combo. Love the ingredients and health benefits. The turmeric formula is a bit grainy and does not dissolve well in hot water.

We're glad to hear that you appreciate the health benefits of our product. In regards to the sediment, we recommend allowing the sediment from whole ground plants to settle before drinking and discarding the remnants at the bottom of the cup. The presence of sediment at the bottom of your cup doesn't mean you haven't gotten the active ingredients of the plants in your brew. As a test, try adding hot water and brewing the sediment again, you will find that it no longer has any flavor. Our plants are micro-ground to a tiny particulate size so infusing them in hot water, even briefly, ensures all active ingredients are steeped out. Just like you wouldn’t consume tea leaves or the contents of teabags, there is no need to consume the sediment at the bottom of your cup and we recommend against doing so as it can be quite grainy and unpleasant due to the presence of roots, bark, and other fibrous plant material. You spoke and we listened. Electric Turmeric 2 replaced fermented turmeric with Sri Lankan biodynamic turmeric for a much smoother, slightly earthy flavor. Paired with naturally sweet Ceylon cinnamon and a touch of pepper, this blend is perfectly balanced with or without a splash of your favorite nut milk.
Biodynamic crops are generally more nutrient-dense and flavorful than most conventional organic crops. They’re also less likely to contain residue from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other toxic substances. Biodynamic farming goes above and beyond organic practices to contribute to a healthier, more balanced ecosystem, soil regeneration, community, and climate resilience.
Since Electric Turmeric 2 is caffeine free, it can be enjoyed at anytime of day! We especially love it in the evenings to decompress and relax.
Since turmeric naturally contains some calories (<5 kcal), we don't consider this tea to be fasting friendly.
